Sun-day

We joined the Aylesbury Wombles for a litter pick this morning. We cleared a brook we'd started a few weeks back and the litter haul was amazing (not in a good way). It included 2 shopping trolleys, a sofa bed, 4 scooters, a vacuum cleaner, a sun lounger, a bike, a washing machine door...the list goes on. A job well done.

We spent the afternoon in the garden in the glorious sunshine. We've definitely caught the sun. More plants have been planted and things tidied. Above us the kites were enjoying the sun and play fighting (see the extra).

The first daylily literally opened in front of us this afternoon. I photographed it barely open early afternoon and by 4.30pm it had fully opened. Plenty more blooms to go.
