Graduation Times Two

Overcast and muggy today with rain in the late afternoon. The eighth grade graduation breakfast was quite a success.The food was tasty and Chase received three awards: honor roll, excellence in Social Studies certificate/pin and the President’s Outstanding Achievement Award. We undecorated the hall, took everything home and boxed the reusable items for next year. Before long, it was time to watch Abby’s high school graduation remotely and then attend her graduation party. More tasty food but luckily we had to head to Chase’s Mass and graduation ceremony before we could overeat. Having the graduation at Mass adds a spiritual atmosphere for sure. We ended the day having dinner with Chase’s family after Skylar finished her last dance rehearsal before this weekend’s recital (one more event added to our overwhelming schedule). May God watch over all graduates this year especially our two. And we offer a prayer of thanksgiving for letting the schedules work so we didn’t have to miss either event/hurt any feelings.
