Stones of Stenness

What a day! An early start and we set off up the East coast. We had a brief coffee stop at a pretty little fishing village, Helmsdale.
Then on to Scrabster for a glorious ferry crossing to Stromness, many seabirds to see, a basking shark and a porpoise!
The evening found us at the Ring of Brodgar to see the standing stones as the sun slowly set. Wonderful!
