Gig racers?

After an early 80k pootle this morning we got some sea air and surveyed the going’s on down by the estuary.
Crabbing, ice cream eating and bombing of the quayside were quite popular, together with pilot gig boats in action.
Both of the vessels in the above have 7 rowers aboard.
