Kept hearing the call of a pair of Curlews on my walk with Misty this morning and tried to get a decent shot of one.  Not easy and this one was the best I could come up with.  They kept landing in a field and I couldn't get very close, so had to crop quite a bit.  Apparently their numbers are declining and they're on the UK red list.  Afterwards walked Misty in the estuary as the tide was in.  She enjoyed a swim.
