Climbers at Stanage Edge

We had a good trip out to Stanage Edge.

We had two walks before and after a picnic lunch.

First walk was away from the rocks to North Lees through some wonderful woodland with many bugs and birds around.  Pied Flycatcher was the best of the bunch and we stood for a while watching him catching his family's lunch.(extra photo) 

The second walk was up to the Edge itself passing the climbers and seeing a Spotted Flycatcher in the Car Park trees. (extra photo).

Very warm and sunscreen required.
