Dancing Lights

Looking for other ways to make images of familiar subjects, hostas caught in the ever present glaring sun made an interesting pattern. As I played with focus and exposure, the pattern became one of flowing lights against the dark leaves.

It's as though they were car headlights taken with long exposure in the rain at night.

I decided to take an in focus frame as well and later brushed in some of the details, adding to the streaking effect.

An interesting concept I could try to take further.
