A day of sport (watching)

Gym for JR, a walk with Becky and Daniel for Archie, and the Sunday papers pour moi. This morning, had things gone to plan, we would have flown down to Jersey to make a surprise visit on our pals. Oh what fun that would have been. *sigh* However, it was not to be, and in fact, Edinburgh now has some of the highest new COVID cases in the land! Not good news.

In the afternoon, we were all out in the back garden for a while. Archie was inspecting this huge poppy that has sprung up - it wasn’t there last year.

I soon repaired inside to watch the football and then the tennis. The latter was much more exciting.

I have found something really good to watch on NOWtv before I cancel my subscription. If you’re fed up with gritty detectives trying to find who murdered (mainly) young females, then try ‘Your Honor’, starring Brian Cranston (Breaking Bad).

Looking forward to the start of a brand new news channel tonight.
