Pye Flatt Common Spotted Orchid

I wanted to have a look at how the Common Spotted Orchids were developing at Pye Flatt Meadow. Just about right at the moment, but a very warm afternoon to be rolling around on the ground - at least it was dry. I’ve taken lots of straight photographs of orchids in this meadow over the years so I decided it would be a Lensbaby afternoon - Composer Sweet 35 and some processing in Lightroom. These were taken next to the public footpath.

I’ve just added a second orchid image in extra- again taken close to the footpath.


I have a new stove in the living room. Mark rang yesterday to see if they could come and fit it this morning and they did. They are both lovely men and did a really good job.
