A weather casualty...

And the rain keeps on falling! This is more like the Summer weather we're used to!!  A few breaks in the rainfall would be nice though!

Checked in on my neighbours garden this morning that I've been looking after while they were away, and sad to see this moth - a cream spot tiger moth maybe?! - hadn't survived the bad weather.  I've not seen these about before so will definitely be looking out for them now and just hope any others can survive. Such a beauty

Another day of catching up, listening to an audiobook - On The Marsh by Simon Barnes - waiting for the food shop to be delivered and there might even be some football game on TV to watch tonight... although it is on at the same time as Gardeners World and I might pick flowers over football for the first half at least!!
