Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 3 - Day 32

UPDATE: Six Dinner Sid waltzed into the lounge at 9.45pm this evening. Lured him out with a bowl of food which he quickly devoured while I fitted the paper collar. Now we just wait and see what happens...

(Have moved the Hypericum to extras. What follows below relates to my original blip posted earlier this evening.)

Hypericum, aka St John’s Wort

8.30am, who saunters into the lounge? Yep, Six Dinner Sid! He was promptly shooed out but didn’t leave the garden, and later in the morning, behind my back, snuck back in, polished off Toff’s breakfast and started to play with her toys! He spent the rest of the morning meowing pitifully outside the door, begging to be let in. So when Toff wanted to go out in the garden, I had to go out as her bodyguard and sit with her while Sid rolled about contentedly at my feet, he even tried to jump up onto my lap.

In the end I had to carry Toffee indoors and she was confined to barracks for the afternoon whilst Sid enjoyed the freedom of the garden. So time to put Operation Sid into action! I printed out the paper collar, wrote my message on it, prepared the sticky tape and a bowl of food to keep Sid occupied while I put the collar on. 4.30pm I go out into the garden to do the deed, and, yes, you guessed it, no sign of Sid!! Well, at least everything is prepared for if/when he returns.

Sid in his new collar was to be today’s blip, so, searching for an alternative pic, I went on a bee hunt, but they were just too fast for me today. So just a frilly yellow flower for you today; you’ll have to imagine the bee that took off!

Take care, stay safe and well...
