An anniversary

It's eight years since I retired so fellow Blipper W and I set off for Ripley in Surrey. We had a little wander around the village and then had some lunch in a very olde worlde cafe.
We had an afternoon session booked at Dunsborough Park to see the roses. We were very lucky with the weather. This was my third visit this year. The tulips were wonderful in April but the wisteria was disappointing in May, as the weather meant there was very little in bloom. However, we saw some still in bloom today. See extra. I couldn't believe how much everything had grown in just a couple of months. The next open days are in September for the dahlias.
