Ducks OUT of water

Pouring. Conned waterproofs and headed to town. Rain had put off some shoppers. But I stayed fairly dry. 
Noticed ducks had sought land instead of water. 
On return home found waterproof trousers not quite so. 
It's a stay indoors kind of afternoon today. Soon be Midsummer.  Now listening to podcasts on statues.
