Bath (2)

If you haven't been to Bath, then may I recommend it to you, especially if you enjoy a mooch about. The architecture is wonderful and, like Edinburgh, it is a city that has managed to retain a large town feel. We had an enjoyable day despite the fact we didn't quite make the boat trip: the queue was one factor, the baking sun another! So, we retired to the pub :-)

In the evening we went for a meal at the Olive Tree, enjoying their tasting menu and wines. It was a very, very good meal, and the service was excellent. I even tried sweetbreads!
