The Clunie walk, Pitlochry.

Today was a beautiful sunny and warm day.

Usually we take lunch with us on a walk but on this occasion we needed to go to Pitlochry so ate scampi and chips at the local fish restaurant, it was lovely.

The walk was up to the Clunie (meadow in Gaelic) and what a climb it was. It seemed as though we just kept walking up but when we got to the open moorland it was more than worth it, a fantastic open moor with mountain views. The extra is RF in front of me walking through the heather.

It was quite a tiring hike so, after picking up food supplies it was back to the lodge for dinner and sitting watching the beautiful view.
