Call THAT rain?

At some time of last night/this morning I thought I detected rain on the Velux©. Truth be told I was so far from fully conscious I have NO idea which end of the dark it occurred.  However, a look at my Bin of Leaf Mould, seems to suggest that what you see on the leaf represents the entire rainfall and none reached the ground beneath the bush.
The extra shows what the Buddleja ought to have started to look like ten days ago.
