Taking photos of the poppies in case the rain destroys them. 

Everything in the garden is looking very "full" just now/ I cut back all the aquilegia and the peonies are opening/ the alchemilla is at its frothy best/ I've actually got the right day for Flower Friday.

We had a family FaceTime with my parents and brother/ D cleaned his camera sensor with the Hoover, using a tip he'd found on YouTube (it worked)/ Sarah and Chris cooked up a delicious Thai green curry for tea.

The rain never came/ I stayed dry on my walk/ the poppies lived to bloom another day.
