In the manor accustomed
Good lord. Far from unusual office shenanigans come to light courtesy of The Sun. But Matt Hancock? Urg. Breeching social distancing guidelines is the offence, I believe.
But we didn’t dwell on that over long as we’d a succession of little visits round arty places. First up the Open Eye as there’s summat by Gill Tyson that the SK fancies for her study. Then on the Ingleby which has relocated to the Glasite Meeting House. Cracking place. Then on, via Stills, to the RSA to see Francis Convery’s stuff (not my cup..) before ending at the City Art Centre to see Ian Hamilton Finlay’s Marine. Boats!
And having seen boats, what could there be next but beers. At Summerhall to meet with big Gav for the first time since the daughter’s wedding. He’s not changed so very much despite saying he never goes out any more drinking beer. He says this while speedily dispatching them. I was surprised to see him as there’s currently a travel band between Scotland and Manchester and Salford. I should have known - he’s just over the border in Stretford.
