Mr. M.

Dear Blippers and good friends,

Me and Mr. M. never made it from the UK to our holiday destination.

Last weekend, Mr. M. had an accident on our overnight stop in the UK, resulting in Mr. M. (Richard) sustaining serious head and spinal injuries.

Richard has been transferred to a specialist ICU neurology hospital in Haywards Heath, where he is under the best of treatment, but still, a week later, under an induced coma to help his injuries.

The Guernsey family have been with me all week, supporting Richard and each other. The last week seems like three months - it's been absolutely dreadful.

I am now back in Guernsey for the weekend to lock down the house, sort out the essential paperwork, returning to the UK on Monday with our car.

I am very grateful of a very supportive family, and the support we have given each other and to Richard. It's going to be a long long road to recovery for my partner and soul mate - but we will get there.

The family know how much photography and blip mean to me and although I have not been able to pick up a camera for a week have encouraged me to do this note.
