On the cards

I saw this on a boarded up shop in Woking this evening. It made me smile and think about great artists who chose to follow their vocation. Was it a gamble or a compulsion? Did they calculate the chances of fame and fortune or was that just happenstance? Street art like this has a vitality of its own, even if it does no more than make you think?
