A heady scent

The orange blossom in our garden has come into full bloom. The profusion of delicately coloured flowers exude a heady scent which is almost overpowering. Meanwhile the bees are really enjoying the fact that we not only followed the no-mow May policy but have kept areas of grass  still untouched with the mower. Wild flowers and "weeds" that may previously have been cut down are bringing  colour to the lawn.
