Hanging out, shooting people

Still trying to practice taking snaps of people going about their usual business. Making progress. We have to wait in the clubhouse while the kids do their football after school club. This is one of the parents waiting for her son to finish.

Red nose day today but Im not going to be watching any of the coverage this evening. Its important to know where the charity money goes, and humbling to see the struggles where other people in the world live, but I've maxed out on the other programs that have been on this week. I don't enjoy that laugh-cry-laugh-cry rollercoaster.


Swimming this morning. Our first trip in a while, was great splashy fun. L even fell asleep on the way home which rarely happens these days.

We got to the park in time for the rain this afternoon which kinda put a dampener (scuse the pun) on things. Retreated to the car where L & Woody picnic'd their snacks away as we waited to take the older 2 to football.

J and I were suppose to be going bowling this evening with my friend Shelley. Babysitter problems meant we've had to cancel :( The silver lining is that Im pretty pathetic at bowling anyway. I blame being left handed, unless Im surrounded by left handed people, in which case I blame my parents, unless my parents are with me, in which case I blame my right leg thats a bit shorter than the left :-)
