Had a lovely day in Halifax...

...with a little help from my friends...
The day was much sunnier than forecast, so we started out with a coffee in the courtyard at the Piece Hall, and a little wander. 
From there we proceeded to Shibden Hall, of Gentleman Jack fame. Had a spot of lunch in the cafe in the park, and a wander with the dogs. Timed ticket then for a look around inside the hall - and a very knowledgeable room guide increased the pleasure of our visit no end ;) 
Now settling to watch the England match - fingers crossed...
