Day 1 of 3 of Block 1 of 2 intensive Gaelic courses I am doing this week and next and it was intensive with plenty of opportunities to practice reading out loud, listening, writing and conversation. I think I am now at the stage where I need to do more of the last two.

There were seven of us in the class, including one former colleague who was also one of my PhD supervisors- it was nice to see them and catch up in a mixture of Gaelic and English.

I used breaks between classes to enjoy the sunshine and did some gardening later in afternoon .  

We have a reasonable amount of apples appearing on one tree but not the other. Cherries also seem to be short supply.
