BAe 146
Mist hanging over the hills this morning and overcast, but it finally cleared into a sunny day, and windy.
Yet another early start at the airport, and knackered! We had a busy morning of flights, and quieter in the afternoon. A real happy bunch flying away today. Off out for a meal this evening, and then meet up with friends later.
We had a RAF aircraft stay overnight, and managed to snap a photo down the runway this morning. The BAe 146 operated out of RAF Northholt by 32 squadron. I'm not sure what it was doing here, but it's used for transporting ministers, MOD and senior members of the Royal Family. Interesting seeing what arrives at the airport, and what I've never really paid attention to before, and I can get up close too. Taken at Sumburgh Airport.
