Elephant Hawkmoth

For the second year running we’ve recorded one of these in our garden trap! They aren’t uncommon but they are SO exotic! We love them. 
My new close up filters have arrived so I spent some time sitting in mums garden taking photos with them while she chatted to my sister in Australia. I’ve put one in the extras. Then we had a lovely couple of hours with quilting friends this afternoon. So go to feel a little more normal :) 
I am being absolutely hopeless about keeping with up folk ….so sorry. Life just seems very busy at the moment. Please forgive my lack of comments and intermittent visits to your blip pages.
