Surviving Well...!!

My Astilbes are standing up fairly well to this current wet spell...
I know they like to be quite wet at the roots..but the flowers probably prefer the sun...
Another miserable wet day generally....Mel is not impressed...was completely dried up ..she was enjoying lying out..came in for her dinner and when she was heading back out it was lashing again...the look on her face is priceless...and she looks back at me as if it’s my fault...!!!
Looking in just now I’ve realized I’ve called my Astilbe a Spirea....all I can say is ..a bit of a ‘ senior moment’ going on ..well, I will be another year older tomorrow..that’s my excuse anyway....:)))
