The Day of the Cliffs

Our houseguests requested to go to Marwick Head, but with the wind in the northwest there was a lot of haar sticking in the geos and cliffs. 

 However whilst there we were privileged to see the Peregrine family, all four.  We could hear them through the haar but couldn’t understand the frenzy of calling.  It became obvious when two juveniles were present with both parents.  Superb flying and calling displays.  Do not see the extras if you take sharp wildlife photographs.  I was held back by not having a camera.  It was a privilege to see them.

Then along to Merkister for the catch of the day.
