Diana

Today was a trip to London with a very good friend.  I bought tickets for an exhibition at Kensington Palace for her birthday and we also saw the recently unveiled statue of Princess Diana in the sunken garden.  I know the ‘jury’ is still out regarding the likeness of the statue or if it reflects her personality.  However the setting is very tranquil and I was pleased to be able to see it.  We also saw her wedding dress up close and it is beautiful.  I had seen  it before on a trip to Althorp bit it was good to see it again.

A long leisurely lunch with lots of chatting was a tonic.
