Swallowtail on the Pickerelweed

I went to the Aquatic Gardens early this morning, but their new pandemic hours prevented me from getting shots before all the Lotuses were in full sun so in the end I spent more time shooting birds, dragonflies and butterflies.   It was so unbearably hot that I left after an hour.

I have loaded a couple of other shots into extra:  a pair of Autumn Meadowhawks mating and a Slaty Skimmer, also on Pickerelweed. 

It looks like the Tiny Tuesday results may not be until Friday evening or Saturday because of our trip.
