Fancy Chimney...

...caught my eye on the way from Rotherham to Sprotbrough. It's been a lovely sunny day so we left Eastwood lock about 9am and did an Asda shop at the next lock then just kept going and got to the mooring in Sprotbrough at lunchtime.
We paired up with a lovely guy - Reg - who we'd met on our way down and he did most of the locks as he has a remote controlled narrowboat! He gets off, opens the gates and brings his boat in at the touch of a button! He's 81 years old and built his boat 4 years ago. It's very swish.
We've had a lovely relaxing afternoon - in fact we fell asleep.

It's tea time now - a hearty broth.

We're coming into wifi no mans land over the next couple of days so Blips may be brief and comments few.
