Writhing

This marvellous selection of wood fills the view from my kitchen sink. It consists of two dead tree trunks and branches which have been used to create a fence between the trunks. 

I love the tortuous twists and they have been insipiration for several paintings over the years. Washing up can take a long time as I stand there finding patterns and figures in the shapes.
