A walk in Stoke Park this morning

It’s a beautiful place, with lots of grassy meadowland, and some extensive woods.  The only problem is you can hear the traffic on the M32 - but after a while you can blank it out a bit. There’s a lot of fallen trees which have been left where they are - and some have been used for carving animals. Others are as they fell, with amazing root systems  (1st extra). Plenty of gorgeous living trees of course. I liked this yew with the sunlight on it (2nd extra)
