Well done Cav!

Today I watched the last part of the Tour de France and despite Mark Cavendish not winning the last stage he has made history winning 40 stages overall. He also won the sprinters green jersey….this is the presentation. He was not even due to ride in the Tour this year and was a last minute replacement for Sam Bennet who was injured.
I enjoyed seeing the last part in Paris as I was actually there for the last day five years ago after finishing a London to Paris charity bike ride when I raised money for the local Princess Alice Hospice. It was four days of very very hard cycling which I won’t be repeating!
