Rain Gauge ...

... on our back entry railing.  Our New York Times reported for Boston (where it's printed) exactly ten inches (25 cm) of rain in the last 30 days--over three times the normal amount. We're just 100 miles from there, so it must have been similar, and it continues tonight. 

We watched the final round of The Open Championship in England today, at the Royal St George's in Kent (picturesquely situated not too far from the White Cliffs of Dover :)  Collin Morikawa  won by two strokes over Jordan Spieth  (both from the US).
