We had a long talk today via Zoom with our friends Susan and David in London, touching inevitably (though mercifully only briefly) on Boris Johnson, who is in the awkward process of stepping down as the British Premier. 

Marylee met Susan years ago when they taught together at Cornell. David did a stint as an editor of the Economist.
