Third day in London - Tottenham

Also my 200th blip - I expect there’s quite a lot of these - as I think a fair number of us started on New Year’s Day this year.
My picture is looking up in Finsbury Park at about 9am this morning. A beautiful walk looking at the trees before it got too hot to enjoy. 
I’m now back home in Bristol - it’s 6pm and 31c - hotter than Rome, Athens, Bangkok! I’ve invented a paddling pool for grown ups - I’m sitting with my feet in lovely icy cold water in the washing up bowl. It’s fantastic, and really helps.

I’ve been thinking about Blip, on the day I congratulated someone I follow on their 4000th post. About 11 years! I’ve found so many good things through joining: firstly some lovely friendly people who I chat with every few days; secondly the international aspect of it, which I love - being in touch with people in Poland, the Netherlands, USA, Brazil, Taiwan, Moscow, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Sweden, Belarus, New Zealand, Japan, as well as all over England and Scotland. I love seeing places I haven’t ever seen, and hearing about different lives and viewpoints. Thirdly I love the structure of finding something beautiful, interesting or funny to show each day; fourthly I think I’m learning an awful lot from other people about photography, and hopefully some of that will lead to better pictures from me over time; and fifthly and lastly I think it’s been REALLY good for my mental health in a difficult period. 
So thank you everyone - at 200 I’m still a real newbie - but I do love it here, and I appreciate very much peoples encouragement, comments and friendliness:)
