Monarch’s Way

I went over to B and D’s house to visit this morning. B and I had planned to go to Oversley woods to look for butterflies but there was too much traffic as the Game fair was on. So we then decided to do a bit more of the Monarch’s Way. We set off from Tardebigge by the canal and walked by the road a while and then followed the sign across a field and then over this quaint little bridge. During our walk we saw a group of 3 green woodpeckers flying past, probably mum, dad and youngster. We stopped for sandwiches and a drink at a local pub.

This evening I took Charlie and Pierce along the river Dene to one of their favourite spots. Charlie did wallowing and even Pierce did some paddling In extras, see the dogs playing in the river.
