Day 3

We’re here at Clover Field the site of the 4 Throwing Events featured at this year’s AOG games. Today’s event schedule includes Qualifying Rounds for the Peanut Toss. Team members from Woody Chucks and Grayson Squirrels were about to begin when a last minute Warning Flag from Referee Chip immediately halted the competition • Apparently after this photo caught the Referee getting into position, raindrops began to fall. Umm, okay, one moment, yes, it’s official, today’s Peanut Toss has been postponed until tomorrow due to adverse weather! • Wow, this certainly sets up an exciting start to the week between these two highly-skilled teams. The Peanut Toss Competition will now be held here tomorrow morning at 9am, directly followed by the Stick Throw in the afternoon. What a jam-packed day ahead! I’ll be curious to see how this delay plays out for these athletes. They’ll get an extra day’s rest but mentally? We’ll have to wait and see • Thanks for tuning in, everyone, let’s hope this field dries out for our double-header tomorrow. Now, back to the Studio!
