Bees and Zinnias

A mixed day weather wise, with sunshine and a few very light showers, but not enough to fill the water butt, but at least it cuts down on tonight's watering. 
There were plenty of bees around today when the sun was shining and I think we've done a good job this year with giving them plenty of nectar rich flowers. They particularly like the zinnias, verbena and salvias

Another wonderful day for Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics with SIX medals, starting with a silver medal for Georgia Taylor-Brown in the triathlon (after getting a puncture), then there was a gold & silver in the 200m freestyle for Tom Dean and Duncan Scott in the early hours. And then after I woke up I saw the three bronze medals for the Womens Gymnastics Team(first in 93 years), the Dressage Team and Bianca Walkden in Taekwondo.
