Tooting Market

After a morning spent chatting with Sarah and catching up on all our news, we walked up to the hospital as she had some paperwork to do. Then we went around the hospital looking at all the art on the walls of the corridors. There are such interesting links between art and medicine..and I was especially pleased to see a display by some final year medical students who had taken a 10 week course in Visual Art and Medicine, producing sketchbooks of their ideas. The kind of thing I would have loved to do.

We had a wander round Tooting Market, so much to please the eye and the palate. Had  smoothies at Leon’s Juice Bar while it poured with rain outside.

This evening we went to my favourite Tooting eaterie, the Amrutha Lounge It never disappoints. An amazing sunset and now the sky is clear again and the air is cool and fresh.

Time for bed.
