All that glitters

Today's Tag was to be all about gold. So I rummaged in boxes and came up with this collection (brighter in large). Surprisingly I had no gold beads or buttons, but I did find some gold sequins. Why I have so much metal wire and wire mesh I don't know, probably something I was doing way back. We were asked to use something 'unusual' and I found in the garage some metal bits, which we think were originally from the back of picture frames. I got out the Brasso and polished them up. 

Then I had a lovely time sewing on a damp and dull afternoon. The result is in Extras.
