Slow Waters…..

Another early walk. Maisie and I walked upstream to the Burleigh Bridge and back along the true left bank of the Taylor River. The days are getting longer. By the time we got back to this slow moving stretch of water it was almost sunrise. There was a pair of Paradise ducks on the water. Maisie took a brief swim trying to chase the ducks. The weather has been very mild today. Very springlike. Hopefully the garden will dry out a little. The ground is very soggy after all the recent heavy rains.
