Up on the Boardwalk

An overnight stay at Holly. We really do enjoy being here.

J has not been for a “real” walk for two weeks, so this morning we visited Foulshaw Moss - our third visit this year. We really enjoy walking along the boardwalks. It’s not a long walk, but there’s always something to see.

All three osprey chicks - the reserves star attraction for many - have fledged. But we were excited to see so many lizards. They were basking on the raised edges of the boardwalks in lots of places (in the extras, a youngster). There are adders around, but none to be seen today unfortunately.
