Pesky but Beautiful

I believe the weather is set to change this evening to heavy showers so I thought I would spend the morning tidying the garden.  I got rather distracted by a number of butterflies on the buddleia including this gorgeous peacock butterfly.  They are tricky to photograph at the best of times, first you have to wait for them to land, then they invariably fold their wings up.  That combined with very bright sun and deep shade and a strong breeze meant that I had to take a lot of photos just to get one image...thank goodness for digital cameras.
