We had a busy day preparing for our friend Jane’s visit…. shopping, cleaning, cooking and also time to enjoy the Olympics. I cried when Laura Muir was interviewed after she won a silver medal in the 1500m.
We went to pick Jane up from the train station early evening. I cooked us vegetable quiche with new potatoes and salad for supper. I’m looking forward to a lovely weekend.
