Park Gate

Another day in paradise!  Sunny spells in the morning, and then the rain started in the afternoon.  Heavy at times, and hasn't stopped all evening. 

Up early, and a morning puttering about the house.  Headed up to Brae before lunch, big Brian and Madeline were up with the caravan for the 100th year of the Brae Regatta.  Headed to the Cornerstone for lunch.  Been down to mam's this evening for tea.  Poor Sammy isn't thinking much of the rain, very little walkies today.

I did manage a small walk with Sammy, on our way home.  I've always meant to stop off here, and snap a photo of this house, today was finally the day.  We would pass it everytime we headed north to granny and granddad's, and it always caught my eye.  Such a cute house, especially with the trees around it, and a sweet smell of peat, reeking from the lum.  Looking to Park Gate, Mangaster Burn, Olnafirth.
