Day 1 in the north west highlands

Didn’t sleep too well as it was too hot!

Didn’t stop Ben and I having an early walk down to the sea. A heron flew up just in front of us they are so graceful in flight.

Back up and got the paddle boards down to the seashore me the only one with the wetsuit on. I enjoyed it but didn’t manage to stand up I paddled on my knees …..

Took a trip to Mallaig to get some shopping . Watched the unloading/loading of the summer islands ferry. Spoke to a young lad who was just going to start a 10 day shift on them. Interesting chat …..

I love the sunsets from the big window where we stay ! It’s been a beautiful day I was sure the forecast said rain but I glad it didn’t and we were out most of the day.
