Snow Angel

We were taken by surprise by the huge amount of snow which fell through the night and even more surprised when we got the news that the school had called a snow day!

We had a lazy morning before getting wrapped up and heading to the park for some sledging fun. However, we hadn't realised just how windy (blizzard like conditions) it still was and it really wasn't to Dexter's liking as he insisted that I take him home as soon as we arrived at the park! Whilst I was trying to coax Dex into sitting on the sledge Olivia busied herself with making some pretty good snow angels as you can see by today's blip. Dexter was adamant that he wanted to go home so Daddy took Olivia off to the hills for some sledge action whilst I carried Dex all the way back home with his face buried into my shoulder so that the snow couldn't get him!
