Richmond

Excellent day despite the continuing bad weather and screwed up train networks that thwarted our plans to go to London. We had coffee with the three bears in Ivy’s in the morning (they were on a flying visit) then drove up to Richmond. 

Walked along the river, discovering some curious old railway arches (with what looked like prison barred windows in them). Then up though Richmond park, at which point the wind changed and blew some dark clouds in our direction. As torrential rain started falling we took refuge in a lovely little pub called The Roebuck where we had supper before heading home via Wholefoods.
